After a few years working as a mechanical engineer, I started my research into gasification in Uni. Sains Malaysia. Then pursued my PhD in Uni. of Canterbury (NZ). After completing my PhD, I continued as a postdoctoral researcher in the department. Then was a postdoc in Uni. Teknologi PETRONAS, before moving on to Newcastle University (UK) for another research stint. I then spent 8 years as a principal researcher in Malaysia's national power research institute.

 

I am currently a Consultant for an energy and chemicals advisory company with HQ in London.
