After a few years working as a mechanical engineer, I started my research into gasification in University Sains Malaysia. Then pursued my PhD in University of Canterbury (NZ). After completing my PhD, I continued as a postdoctoral researcher in the department. Then was a postdoc in Uni. Teknologi PETRONAS, before moving on to Newcastle University (UK) for another research stint.

 

Now I am a principal researcher in the Fuels & Combustion section of Malaysia's main utility company's research institution.
